It has been a while since we picked up your generous donation and given it to a needy military family at Camp Pendleton. They have not forgotten your kindness and neither have we. Some of them began volunteering to help their brothers and sisters.
Each week, we welcome 150 to 250 military families to our Warrior Warehouse, where they are able to select furniture, household goods, baby items, and small comforts at no cost. To some, it may be a bed or a table; to others, a baby blanket or a simple keepsake. Over the years, this humble warehouse has supported more than 175,000 military families. None of this would have been possible without the generosity and trust of donors like you.
We are pleased to share an exciting development. Camp Pendleton’s Base Commander recognizes our contribution to military family morale and has granted us a parcel of land on base to build a 7,500-square-foot steel warehouse. This much-needed facility will cost approximately $350,000. As Founders, we have personally committed $200,000 toward this project. A tax-deductible contribution would make a huge difference in our service to military families. You can do so online at cpcsf.org and selecting “I want to help” or via the U.S. mail at the above address.
Our goal is to complete construction by July 1 of this year. If you know of others who may be interested in supporting military families through this project, we would be grateful if you would share this opportunity with them.
Thank you once again for your generosity and for being a vital part of our mission.
